We are committed to helping children and young people in Greater Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire get access to vital mental health support.

On average children and young people have to wait 178 days for first contact with a mental health professional after referral.
That’s not good enough, there needs to be a change, this is why we have created Stable Minds CYP.
We are busy preparing our new therapy rooms so we can start seeing children and young people as quickly as possible.
We aim to create a safe space for children and young people to get help sooner and make lifelong improvements to their mental health.

Children Need Mental Health Support
More than half (55%) of children and young people in the UK say they face barriers to getting mental health support, according to a new nationwide YouGov survey.
Even though the NHS estimates 1 in 5 children are suffering from a probable mental health condition.
The survey also said that children and young people’s top worry was schoolwork and exams (nearly 60%), followed by their physical appearance (45%) and climate change (42%).
Almost 40% reported worrying about their family not having enough money.
We aim to help get support to children and young people in Cheshire and Greater Manchester to help all the kids struggling!
